Sometimes cool stuff happens, and today is one of those days. LISTEN UP REFINERS…today I will be making my first morning announcement. Truthfully, I’m at a total lose of words at the moment. So as some of you may know, I’m really into a show on @appletvplus called Severance. (It’s amazing, check it out asap. Don’t google info on it, just go watch the first episode for free.) Well, believe it or not I’ve been in contact with one of the actors from the show. I touched base with him via Twitter after I listened to his interview on the @severedpod. His name is Marc Geller (@geller_marc), he plays the character of Kier Eagan, he also does a ton of other acting/broadway work! Today he sent me an amazing gift. I feel beyond blessed at the moment, this is so cool. I’m officially #lumonindustries employee of the month, lol. Thank you so much Marc for the amazingly thoughtful gift. Story Time! 🐵📖 I think it’s safe to say that I have bad luck (or I’m cursed, cursed sounds cooler). Every album cycle I get myself into some scary health situation. It’s becoming predictable at this point. This album cycle is no different. Broken hand, broken toe, kidney stones, blowing myself up with a BBQ, & now a nasty infection! At this point I have to really sit back & ask myself, am I prepared to die doing what I love? How much can I mentally and physically take before I fall apart? I’ve been in the hospital for the past three days. They discharged me today. I accidentally punctured my leg with a pair of scissors while opening a box. I immediate cleaned the wound. Within a few hours it got infected. I called my doctor & got antibiotics prescribed to me. After five days of meds things weren’t getting better. I called the doctor to ask if I should try a different antibiotic, he replied “Go to the ER”. While at the ER I was on a constant IV of antibiotics & pain meds. I wanted (still do) to scratch my skin off. I would get these insane waves of pain that made my skin feel like it was on fire. But the good news is throughout all of this I never got a fever, no abscess, & no tetanus. The IV antibiotics did work. But the puzzling thing here is that I have really sensitive skin that reacted in an odd way. You can see the wound healing in places, but the top layer of skin looks like it had an additional reaction. You can see broken blood vessels, blisters, & more. It looks like a giant bruise & a giant burn all at once. It was very strange & was puzzling everyone. I’ve got to rest, eat a bunch of meds, don’t rip the skin off my body, & watch to see if I have to go back to the ER. Unfortunately this problem isn’t over yet. Hit me up. I’m doing nothing but laying down for the next few days. -Justin PS, if you’re still reading this, do me a solid & scoop up some merch. I could really use the extra support right now. I have a feeling that each IV bag is $800. They gave me 9 of them total. Oh and I also ate their food & we all know that cuisine is expensively disgusting, lol. Bye.

Let me explain…so the guitar I’m using is Dustin’s #gibson 335 with a sweet #evertune / @evertune upgrade. This guitar is something special. Every time I use it for a session I tell @dustinbennettproducer I’m going to take it home with me one day. The photo not only looks like Dustin has a velvet painting of himself in the studio but also reminds me that he watches me like a hawk when I use it lol. Totally kidding. @mtthwjb took this shot while I was tracking ideas for the ending of the new track “Tell Me Something Great”. I can’t wait to show you guys what we are working on.
